Here is one more proof for my claim that the Internet is in great need of content developers as more and more websites and blogs are being launched by the minute.

While there is a demand for content developers, there is also a huge demand for content re-writers. Re-writing already written content does require some skill that include a fairly good knowledge of synonyms, idioms and phrases, quotes by famous persons etc.

I would say a good knowledge of Geography and History are added qualification. I found that from my personal experience as a blogger and a ghost blogger.

"Earn $100 per hour writing articles? You must be kidding"-was my reply to a mentor of mine who caught at Google Talk last night.

He said he was serious. I know that as a freelance writer, he earns good money per month and he is considering roping in his daughter too into freelance article writing.

The demand for web content is growing and it is a recession proof industry. As a freelance blogger, I am earning a decent sum every month but $100 per hour? Oh, I would be happy if I can $100 per day consistently and I can squeeze this extra one hour by getting up an hour early!

How to sell your writing skill?

From 2001 to 2006, I used to be very active in internet forums that deals with myriad topics such as income online, work at home, passive income, internet marketing, spiritual development and more.

Some of the topics either started by me or responded by me, developed into a series of responses which if compiled would have turned into high quality web content. But, I realize this only now and that too after I started selling content and product reviews to several outsourcing companies.
